I study how people make choices about the environment. Along the way I’ve taught students about sustainability in the South Pacific and Central America, investigated how Ethiopians manage rabies, convinced people that black bears are good to have around, and persuaded colleagues and students that wildlife policy is indeed fascinating!
When I’m not traveling or in front of a computer, I’m exploring the delicious offerings of local restaurants with my husband, walking my greyhound, snuggling my furry rescue kitty, or keeping up with my toddler. I love watching sports, and on the rare occasion I have the opportunity, playing soccer. Seeing people live up to their highest potential inspires me to be my best, and I really enjoy being a part of the super-organism that is a team pushing for a goal.
